On April 26, the new BMW 4 Series two-door coupe and convertible were launched in China. The price ranges from 38.69-52.69 million yuan; the new car features the same laser tail lights as the new BMW M4, as well as two new car paint colors, York Angle Green and Flame Red, and M carbon fiber interior trim, all for the first time in the BMW 4 Series. The entire lineup comes standard with front sports seats made of high-quality Sensatec synthetic leather, a flat-bottomed M sports multifunction leather steering wheel, and other luxury features to further enhance the luxury sports experience.
The new car inherits the unique exterior design elements of the BMW 4 Series family. The newly designed front LED headlights have been upgraded in both visual and functional aspects. The arrow-shaped LED units inside are vertically distributed, combining multiple functions such as turn signals and daytime running lights. The highly expressive laser taillights are first applied to the BMW 4 Series, sharing the same design as the latest new BMW M4. The black high-gloss diffuser from the M Sport package and M aerodynamic components, as well as the exhaust tailpipes enlarged to 100 mm in diameter, are offered. In addition, personalized special finishes such as matte dark gray and personalized finishes such as Danquan stone blue and bixi gray are available. The new car also introduces three new 19-inch wheels to meet customers’ personalized selection needs.
The standard M Sport multifunctional leather steering wheel with shift paddles enhances the driving experience and strengthens the sporty atmosphere. The new design air conditioning vents with contour lighting and the elegant crystal interior components create a luxurious atmosphere.
The new BMW 4 Series coupe and convertible are equipped with BMW’s latest 2.0T inline-four turbocharged engine, paired with an 8-speed sport automatic transmission. The perfect 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution, optimized aerodynamic design, and optional M Sport suspension and blue M high-performance calipers further enhance handling performance for a more personalized driving experience.
The new BMW 4 Series convertible features a soft top design with a top cover arch, combining the stability of a retractable hardtop with the classic beauty of a fabric convertible. The soft top can be opened/closed in just 18 seconds when the speed is below 50 km/h.
