On May 17th, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P officially launched, offering three models: 126 Long Range Pro, 126 Long Range Halo, and 126 Long Range Ultra, priced from 169,800 to 189,800 yuan (26490$). Deliveries will begin in May this year.
With the further development of the domestic new energy market, hybrid models have become an increasingly important force. The Geely brand, with its unique EM-P technology and emphasis on personality and sportiness, naturally cannot miss out. Following the launch of the Geely 08 EM-P last year, the arrival of the Geely 07 EM-P has allowed Geely to have a more complete layout in the new energy market within 200,000 yuan (27920$).
In terms of appearance, the new car retains many features of the family design, with long “dawn light” LED daytime running lights on both sides of the front hood, paired with a dynamic lower bumper with a through-type light strip below, it is clear at a glance that this is a Lynk & Co.
The side lines and design are eye-catching, with frameless doors, hidden door handles, and a floating roof giving the car a dynamic look. The taillights are not abstracted into a thin light strip, but feature many design elements and accents.
In terms of body size, the new car is 4827/1900/1480mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2843mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan. The Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is built on the CMA Evo native new energy architecture, benefiting from the architecture’s bandwidth empowerment, with a remarkable 71% “room rate” in terms of space utilization.
In terms of interior design, the new car continues the design style of the Lynk 08, which is not overly complex but still full of personality. The 15.4-inch narrow bezel central control screen has a resolution of 2.5K, surpassing many digital devices in display quality. The central control screen can also rotate 15° left and right for the convenience of the co-driver.
Under the empowerment of Meizu, Lynk’s car system has undergone a qualitative change. The new car is equipped with the Antola 1000 Pro computing platform, integrating two 7nm “Dragon Eagle 1” chips, with a single computing power twice that of the Qualcomm 8155 chip. The LYNK Flyme Auto Lynk intelligent cockpit system performs excellently in various aspects such as car-machine interconnection, UI design, and human-computer interaction, with the “smart big screen family bucket” of unlimited smooth connection, the 07 EM-P can achieve a 92-inch AR-HUD, a 15.4-inch agile screen, a 10.2-inch full LCD digital instrument panel, as well as Pad, phone “3+2+1” multi-screen smooth connection experience. In addition, the rear Co Pad can achieve various functions such as controlling the car, entertainment, and care through Flyme Link technology.
In terms of configuration, the new car comes standard with cloud-feel pressure-relieving leather seats, as well as seat heating/ventilation and massage functions depending on the model. Popular options such as 23-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, surround multi-color ambient lighting, and 50W wireless phone fast charging are also available for comfort and convenience.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid power system consisting of a 1.5T 4-cylinder hybrid engine and motor, with the engine delivering a maximum power of 120kW, a system comprehensive power of 280kW, peak torque of 615N·m, and paired with a 3-speed DHT transmission. CLTC pure electric range is 126km, comprehensive range exceeds 1400km, WLTC fuel consumption is 4.88L/100km.
As a hybrid model, the Lynk 07 EM-P is equipped with four driving modes based on intelligent algorithms. In super range mode, the vehicle intelligently adjusts its working state according to speed and road conditions, intelligently switching between electric drive, direct drive, and parallel drive. Below 88 kilometers per hour, priority is given to pure electric mode; above 88 kilometers per hour, priority is given to parallel and direct drive. Matching with a 3-speed transmission, the system always maintains operation in the high-efficiency economic range.
In terms of intelligent safety, the Lynk 07 EM-P uses the latest generation of the Tianqin Pro intelligent driving computing platform, equipped with 28 high-perception hardware, with advanced intelligent driving capabilities, supporting up to 32 intelligent driving assistance functions, such as FCW front collision warning system, HWA Plus highway driving assistance system. In addition, the Lynk high-speed NOA function is planned to be officially launched in the fourth quarter.
