On May 30, Geely Auto officially released the “Galaxy Flyme Auto” intelligent cockpit system co-developed with Xingji Meizu. At the same time, Geely also joined Flyme Sound Inside to release the industry’s first AI intelligent audio system – “Flyme Sound Unlimited Sound”. Galaxy Flyme Auto and Flyme Sound will be applied to Geely Galaxy’s new products and customized according to different vehicle model requirements. Geely independently developed the first 7nm cockpit chip in China.
For smart cockpits, hardware, especially the performance of onboard chips, determines the foundation of intelligent interaction. Geely independently developed and mass-produced China’s first 7nm car-grade cockpit chip, “Dragon Eagle I”, with an 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU, AI computing power twice that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155, supporting 2.5K HD video playback, and possessing advanced AI application expansion capabilities.
Galaxy Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system has rich Alive Design with scene space, multi-form desktop, Dock menu, supporting gesture interaction, Smart Bar, intelligent voice, achieving cross-terminal seamless connection through Flyme Link, unlocking application circulation, application relay, mobile phone small window projection, parallel windows, hardware sharing and other functions. Built-in QQ Music, National K Song, NetEase Cloud Music, iQIYI, App Store and 8 preset scene modes to meet users’ car needs in different scenarios. Industry’s first panoramic AI intelligent audio system Audio is one of the core functions in the intelligent cockpit, and the quality of the sound directly determines the user’s intelligent experience. In order to make luxury auditory experience accessible, Geely has invested over 100 million RMB in research and development, established a professional team of hundreds of people, set up the industry-leading sound master studio for acoustic experiments, sound measurement, golden ear tuning and other acoustic research, and jointly launched the industry’s first AI intelligent audio system – Flyme Sound Unlimited Sound with Flyme Sound Inside.

In terms of hardware parameters, Flyme Sound adopts the industry’s first 9.1.6 surround sound layout, adding 6 sky channels, using a 20ch external amplifier, accommodating up to 27 speakers, with a rated power of 2000W to ensure distortion-free sound and a lowest frequency of 20Hz. In terms of software algorithms, Geely’s self-developed tuning team, in collaboration with partners such as WANOS, Resound, and Harman Kardon, has conducted multiple rounds of objective and subjective tuning of the audio, virtualizing various scenes such as recording studios, music halls, opera houses, concerts, cinemas, and karaoke rooms, with advanced AI algorithms optimizing sound field distribution, matching audio effects intelligently, and automatically switching virtual venues to ensure the best listening position for each person and a unique sound experience tailored to individual auditory preferences. Thanks to Geely’s comprehensive NVH tuning technology, cutting-edge active noise reduction technology, and 256-color dynamic ambient lighting, users can enjoy a space capsule-level quiet cabin environment. Additionally, Flyme Sound introduces the WANOS panoramic sound app and self-developed Galaxy Sound Space app, aggregating panoramic sound content resources from various categories such as music, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, and variety shows to provide users with a more diverse and comprehensive panoramic sound experience.
