On May 30th, SAIC Volkswagen officially launched the all-new Tiguan L PRO, which is built on the MQB EVO intelligent digital architecture, significantly improving the intelligent experience. The new car has 6 models with prices ranging from 23.68 to 26.68 million yuan. It also offers a limited-time 20,000 yuan (2760$) purchase tax exemption and a three-year 20% discount on worry-free replacement policy. In addition, cities with license plate restrictions can enjoy an 8,000 yuan (1110$) trade-in or purchase subsidy, while cities without restrictions can enjoy a 6,000 yuan (830$) trade-in or purchase subsidy, with up to 5 years of 0 interest rates, unlimited media traffic for life, and successful referrals earning owners 1,000 yuan (140$) worth of V beans each.
In terms of appearance, the Tiguan L PRO adopts the latest digital style design of the Volkswagen family, with softer and fuller lines. The new car also offers two styles: R-Line sporty front face and avant-garde front face, and provides a total of 5 exterior colors including light burst blue, galaxy gray, luminous pink, arc white, and quantum black, with 3 new colors.
The R-Line sports front face features a large honeycomb design with black treatment, creating a sporty look with high-gloss black trim on the sides. The standard version of the Pioneer front face uses horizontal grille bars, adding stability to the vehicle. The chrome trim and black piano lacquer material on the standard version enhance the sense of luxury and stability.

Looking at the rear of the car, the new model features a wide shoulder design, enhancing the visual center of gravity and giving it a more solid appearance. The tail lights have a through-style design with smoked black interior, making them look beautiful even when not lit. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4735/1842/1682mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2791mm.
In terms of interior, the Tiguan L PRO adopts a new design style, creating a more fashionable and technological atmosphere. The number of physical buttons in the car has been further reduced, making the interior look more concise. In addition, the car is equipped with a 15-inch central control screen + 10.3-inch digital instrument panel. Moreover, in front of the passenger seat, there is an 11.6-inch entertainment screen, meeting the demand of young consumers for smart cabins.
In terms of interior material selection, the R-line sports package version of the model uses a large area of suede wrapping, while the Pioneer version uses leather wrapping, you can clearly feel the different atmosphere when entering the car.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the central control screen of the Touareg L PRO has a 2K resolution and is equipped with the 8155 chip, greatly improving the display effect and operating speed. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, available in two power versions: 330TSI and 380TSI. The maximum power is 137kW and 162kW, with maximum torque of 320N·m and 350N·m. The transmission system uses a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, and the top-spec 380TSI model will also have an optional all-wheel drive system.
