The 2024 Greater Bay Area Auto Show was held. Great Wall Motors showcased their rugged off-road vehicles, MPV model Wei Pai Gaoshan, and luxury heavyweight motorcycle, highlighting their technological achievements in various fields.
Great Wall Motors, known for developing hardcore off-road vehicles, builds many models with body-on-frame construction. These vehicles are equipped with front, center, and rear differential locks, detachable anti-roll bars, and a non-decoupling four-wheel drive system. Some models even come with a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system, combining a 2.0T/3.0T engine with an electric motor for powerful off-road and rescue capabilities.
In the increasingly popular MPV field of family outings, Weipai Gaoshan is a “first-class cabin for the whole family” created by Weipai New Energy for family users. It has a unique second and third row common rail design with three rows of butterfly seats, creating a variety of life scenes, and equipped with humanized details such as ultra-low double-layer foot pedals and long armrests to meet the special needs of the elderly and children.
Not only comfortable to sit in, but also fun to drive. The 1.5T DHT+P4 power system delivers a maximum output power of 358 KW and a maximum torque of 762 N·m. With a zero to one hundred acceleration time of just 5.7 seconds, the pure electric range under CLTC conditions can reach 175 kilometers with a 37.96 kWh battery pack.
Great Wall Motors not only creates cars that are suitable for both urban and off-road driving for different user groups, but also introduces high-displacement luxury heavyweight motorcycles, allowing motorcycle enthusiasts to broaden their horizons once again. China is also capable of producing top-of-the-line large-displacement cruising motorcycles. The 2.0L horizontally opposed 8-cylinder engine is paired with an 8-speed DCT automatic transmission, with high integration between the engine and transmission. Lighter weight and smaller size are particularly important for motorcycles.
Great Wall Motors excels in technology research and development and new vehicle iteration speed. Visit the Greater Bay Area Auto Show to experience it up close.
