Recently, Car Quality Network learned from relevant channels that the new BMW 3 Series will officially start production in September. The new car will be streamlined to 5 configurations after domestic production, possibly canceling the previous low-power version, while making localized adjustments to the appearance, interior, and configuration.
According to media reports, the new domestic BMW 3 Series will launch 3 long-wheelbase models and 2 standard-wheelbase models: the 325Li M Sport Package, 330Li M Sport Shadow Edition, 330Li Exclusive M Sport Shadow Edition, 325i M Sport Package, and 330i M Sport Shadow Edition. This means that the previous 320i/Li models with 2.0T low-power engines and xDrive models will no longer be available in the future.
The exterior design will basically remain consistent with the overseas models, with adjustments made to details. New color options such as Velocity Blue and Brooklyn Gray will enhance consumer choices. Additionally, new wheel options will be available, including 18-inch 1039M double-spoke wheels in dark gray and 19-inch 995M dual-tone double-spoke wheels.
In terms of interior, the new car will be equipped with a new style three-spoke flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, with improved appearance and grip. Additionally, the interior materials and details have been optimized, such as the start button, gear shift mechanism, and iDrive knob, all decorated with crystal materials to create a more luxurious atmosphere. In terms of power, the new car still comes with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. For more information about the new car, CheZhiWang will continue to follow and report.
