Let’s take a look at the 7 Super Hybrid, the new car’s front end features a high-tech closed design, with a smaller closed panel area compared to the pure electric model, and a larger intake grille at the bottom. The most eye-catching part of the front end is the surrounding LED light strip and unique T-shaped tear-shaped headlights. Two strong lines on the hood extend to the A-pillar, setting the tone for the entire vehicle’s lines.
The straight and layered waistline on the side of the car extends smoothly from the front fender to the rear, with hidden door handle design, presenting a minimalist style. The body adopts a two-tone paint scheme, with the A, B, C, and D pillars all treated in black, paired with black side skirts and smoked black wheels, significantly enhancing the new car’s dynamic temperament. In terms of body size, the dimensions of the JiaYu 7 Super Hybrid are 4907/1885/1756mm in length/width/height, with a wheelbase of 2975mm.
The rear of the car continues the simple and square design language, with black “7” shaped taillights echoing the front face.
In terms of interior design, the 7 Super Hybrid adopts a triple-screen design, along with hidden air vents and a flat overall design style, making the interior look simple and stylish. Additionally, electronic rearview mirrors are used to ensure good visibility in bad weather conditions like rain or snow.
The 7-seater 7 Plus adopts a 2+2+3 layout, with the second row featuring two seats with power adjustment, leg rests, and dual armrests for added comfort on long journeys.
Let’s talk about the 9 Super Hybrid. The front face design is similar to the 7 Super Hybrid, with sharp and striking headlight shapes. The front bumper integrates a large air intake grille, further enhancing the vehicle’s visual presence and momentum. In addition, there are two styles to choose from for the front face: “Yuyi Flowing Light” and “Star River Brilliant.”
On the side, the G9 Super Hybrid shows a strong and stable body profile, with larger and more imposing dimensions compared to the G7 Super Hybrid. The straight and elegant lines, extending from the front fender to the rear, optimize the interior seating experience. The A/B/C/D pillars are designed in black to create a hidden style. The G9 Super Hybrid measures 5270/2000/1848mm in length/width/height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3200mm.
The rear design is eye-catching, with tail lights inspired by concept cars, sharp lines, and a distinct overall visual effect. Additionally, the new car is equipped with a small spoiler at the top of the rear, adding a touch of sportiness to the vehicle.
In terms of interior, the T9 Hybrid also features a triple screen design, simple and stylish overall. The entire vehicle is wrapped in large soft materials, with meticulous workmanship, in line with its high-end positioning.
The 9 Super Hybrid adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout. The second row seats are more comfortable compared to the 7 Super Hybrid, using aviation seats with heating/ventilation/massage functions and electric leg rests. While ensuring spacious comfort, there is also a 220mm wide middle aisle for easy access for third-row passengers.
It is worth mentioning that the third-row seats support manual front and rear movement. When moved to the rear, the legroom in the third row is very spacious, fully taking care of the comfort of third-row passengers. The panoramic sunroof above the third row also greatly reduces the sense of oppression for third-row passengers.
In terms of power, both the 7 Pro Hybrid and the 9 Pro Hybrid are equipped with the third generation 1.5T hybrid exclusive engine, with a high thermal efficiency of up to 43%, a rated power of 110kW, and a maximum torque of 235N·m. Both models are equipped with either a 24.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery or a 39.7kWh ternary lithium battery. With the 24.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, the pure electric range of the 9 Pro Hybrid reaches 115km under CLTC standard, while the 7 Pro Hybrid reaches 140km; and with the 39.7kWh high-energy density ternary lithium battery, the pure electric range of the 9 Pro Hybrid jumps to 225km under CLTC standard, while the 7 Pro Hybrid reaches up to 230km. In hybrid mode, the 9 Pro Hybrid has a comprehensive range of 1309km under CLTC standard, with a low WLTC fuel consumption of 6.5L/100km; while the 7 Pro Hybrid has a comprehensive range of up to 1327km under CLTC standard, with a WLTC fuel consumption of only 6.15L/100km.
Additionally, both models have “parking power generation” function, with a maximum power generation of 14.5kW, enabling 10% charging in 5 minutes. The V2L external power discharge function reaches a maximum of 6.6kW, making it more suitable for outdoor camping scenes and able to urgently charge other electric vehicles in critical moments.
It is worth mentioning that both models use rear multi-link independent suspension without compromising interior space, providing better comfort and driving experience compared to the commonly used torsion beam suspension in the same class of MPVs.
In terms of passive safety, both models use a closed-loop frame structure, with high-strength steel accounting for 80%, including nearly 27% ultra-high-strength steel. Following our achievement as the only MPV in the country to have received the “Euro-NCAP Five-Star” safety certification, the latest results of the 2024 Euro NCAP safety crash tests have been released. Our model 7 also passed the five-star safety certification with high scores, achieving four full marks in four out of five high-quality crash test conditions. It is the first and only MPV to achieve four full marks under the new Euro NCAP regulations.
