On June 12, Great Wall Motors held a technology sharing event for Coffee OS 3 smart space. Wu Huixiao, the vice president of intelligentization at Great Wall Motors, demonstrated the rich features of Coffee OS 3 through technical explanations and in-car demonstrations.
Coffee OS 3 is the third generation intelligent space system developed by Great Wall Motors, meeting the personalized needs of passengers through AI. Coffee OS 3 features the industry’s first custom Chinese font for car use – Great Wall Heiti, with 1821 redesigned icons and a desktop background designed with the main visual element of Qilian Mountain for a more modern style. Additionally, Coffee OS 3 also includes over 50 micro-motion effect icons, allowing users to visually see changes in vehicle status and functions during related operations.
To provide users with a convenient and fast user experience, Coffee OS 3 has upgraded its hardware significantly. The CPU performance has increased by 2.1 times, and the GPU performance has increased by 2.8 times, greatly improving smoothness. In terms of functionality, Coffee OS 3 not only has a variety of desktop forms but also supports highly customizable desktop cards, DOCK bars, meeting users’ personalized needs. It also has a rich App ecosystem to meet the entertainment needs of different users.
On the mobile car networking, Coffee OS 3 with Coffee Link covers most domestic phone brands, making it easy to connect without downloading any apps. With Coffee OS 3, users can use Coffee Air Touch technology to control the car system with hand gestures like pinch, drag, and grasp.
In addition, Coffee OS 3 features multi-screen sharing and transmission, creating a versatile car interior interaction. It is equipped with the world’s first dynamic to panoramic sound technology, enhancing the audio experience throughout the cabin. With AI voice separation algorithm, ordinary stereo music is transformed into multi-channel tracks and remixed for playback through speakers distributed in the cabin, providing a clean and immersive audio experience for passengers. In terms of voice interaction, Coffee OS 3 introduces AI model Coffee GPT, a smart partner that learns and evolves to provide user-centered intelligent interaction. It also supports the command “speak freely”.
