Bentley recently released two new models, the new Continental GT Convertible Ultimate Edition and the new Continental GT Ultimate Edition. Let’s quickly introduce these new cars.
The new model continues Bentley’s future-oriented design changes. The front face change is the biggest in the Continental GT series in 21 years, making it the first Bentley model to adopt this headlight design since the 1950s.
The new Continental GT cockpit features new precision stitching techniques inspired by modern fashion design, covering seats and doors. Three-dimensional stitching, gradually hidden perforations, and new stitching embroidery techniques are cleverly combined to create a highly enveloping seating space. Equipped with healthy seating technology, new negative ion air purification device, 3D leather trim, new stitching, and new dark chrome interior design.
The new Continental GT still features Bentley’s innovative three-sided rotating center console, with a 12.3-inch high-definition display, three elegant analog dials, and a handcrafted veneer panel. Switch between the three sides with a simple touch of a button.
The new Continental GT Convertible features Bentley’s seven-section fabric roof system, offering seven exterior color options including tweed, and can open or close in 19 seconds at speeds up to 48 km/h.
The all-new high-performance hybrid system combines a 4.0L V8 engine with a 190-horsepower electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 782 horsepower and peak torque of 1,000 Nm. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 3.2 seconds, with a pure electric range of 81 kilometers and a total range of 859 kilometers.
The new chassis system features new dual-chamber air springs and new dual-valve dampers. It is equipped with Bentley’s dynamic driving system with 48V active anti-roll control, electronic limited-slip differential, torque vectoring system, and a 49:51 rear-biased weight distribution for the first time in the Continental GT series. The vehicle’s handling and comfort are truly astonishing. All new models are handcrafted at Bentley’s “dream factory” in Crewe, UK, and deliveries will begin in the third quarter of this year in select global markets.
