Fu Bingfeng said that boosting the consumption of intelligent connected new energy vehicles has become an important measure to promote stable consumption growth. This year, various government departments have carried out a series of work to promote industry development. The implementation rules for the “subsidy for replacing old cars with new ones” and the supporting policies of local governments have played a positive role in promoting stable consumption growth; in the development of intelligent connected vehicles, pilot applications of intelligent connected vehicles have been launched, and unmanned driving vehicles have begun commercial trial operations; in terms of infrastructure construction, the pace of installing charging piles in rural areas and constructing charging facilities on highways has accelerated; at the same time, counter-subsidy responses and related countermeasures will protect the rights and interests of Chinese automobiles going global. These measures have played a role in safeguarding the leading advantage of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry. Shanghai Jiading District Party Secretary Lu Fangzhou delivered a welcome speech for the summit. Jiading is the city with the largest scale, highest research and development level, and most complete industrial chain in the domestic automobile industry, and it is also a long-term partner of the China Automotive Forum. Over the past ten years, Jiading’s automobile industry has been advancing towards the “new”, seizing opportunities, and accelerating the transformation towards the “new four modernizations” direction. By taking advantage of the construction of the first international demonstration zone for electric vehicles and the national pilot demonstration zone for intelligent connected vehicles, Jiading has initially achieved breakthroughs in overall capacity, carrier layout, and demonstration applications, further enhancing the city’s reputation as “Automobile Jiading”. Jiading has built high-standard industrial parks such as the Intelligent Automobile Software Park and the Automobile Core Valley, attracting more than 600 enterprises related to the “new four modernizations” of automobiles and over 200 public and enterprise research and development platforms. Last year, the total output value of the automobile “new four modernizations” reached 231.84 billion yuan.
