Just now, we learned from General Motors that their flagship MPV, the Buick Century, has officially started the V3.3 version OTA upgrade, involving a total of 12 major updates to the intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit systems.
Upgraded vehicles will have the NOP smart navigation function, supporting smart merging, recognizing intersections, yielding at ramps, navigating congestion, changing lanes, yielding proactively, adjusting speed, and lane recognition to achieve L2+ level intelligent assisted driving on closed roads.
Currently, Buick’s NOP has covered 348 cities in China with a mileage of nearly 400,000 kilometers. The new GL8 Land Explorer PHEV models have embedded hardware for NOP smart navigation, which will be activated through OTA in the future.
