On July 11, 2024, China’s First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. held a meeting and announced leadership appointments: Comrade Chen Bin was appointed as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China’s First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. The appointment was made in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
Currently, the team of China FAW consists of 7 members: Chairman and Party Secretary Qiu Xiandong; Liu Yigong; Director and Deputy Party Secretary Wang Guoqiang; Party Committee Member and Chief Accountant Fang Shili; Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager Liang Guiyou; Wu Bilei; Chen Bin.
In 1998, Chen Bin joined Dongfeng Company and served for 26 years, including 11 years in research and development, 4 years in large-scale manufacturing, 5 years in party and community management, and 6 years in enterprise management. From August 2006 to August 2011, Chen Bin served as the deputy director of the product research and development center, assistant to the factory manager at Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd., and minister of the procurement department. From August 2011 to February 2013, he was the deputy secretary of the company’s Youth League Committee. From February 2013 to June 2016, he was the secretary of the company’s Youth League Committee. In June 2016, Chen Bin was transferred to the position of secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Group, assisting the general manager in handling human resources, production manufacturing, safety, procurement, quality, business line costs, and related work. In August 2018, he became the general manager of Dongfeng Group. In September 2020, Chen Bin was promoted to assistant president of Dongfeng Company, executive deputy general manager, and secretary of the Party Committee of Shenlong Company.
