On July 12, FAW Toyota officially launched the new Asia Dragon, with upgraded exterior, interior details, and intelligent configurations. The new car is equipped with three power systems: 2.0L, 2.0L HEV, and 2.5L HEV, totaling 9 models. The price range of the new car is 17.88-25.68 million yuan.
In terms of appearance, the new Asian Dragon continues the design style of the current model and continues to use two front face styles. However, adjustments have been made to the details, one is a high-gloss modular grille with a large amount of chrome decoration, emphasizing luxury. The other is a gradient mesh grille, which looks more layered, emphasizing a sporty style. In addition, the new car also adds two new colors, Pioneer Gray and Functional Green, increasing the overall youthful feel of the vehicle.
The side of the body remains the same as the current model, continuing the sleek design. The new car measures 4990/1850/1450mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2870mm, consistent with the current model. In terms of details, the new car is equipped with a new style of wheels, with 19-inch multi-spoke gunmetal gray wheels looking more textured.
The rear design remains the same as the current model, with only adjustments made to the taillights and rear bumper details.
In terms of interior, the new car has made adjustments to the details based on the current model, such as installing a new three-spoke steering wheel, giving it a more robust and exquisite look. Additionally, the interior is equipped with a large amount of wood grain material decoration, and fluorescent colored stitching is added to enhance the texture of the interior. Furthermore, the new car has upgraded to a full LCD instrument panel and a 10.25/12.3-inch multimedia screen.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the new car has upgraded to the 8155 chip, significantly improving response speed. Voice commands are responded to in milliseconds, supporting in-car WeChat and 28 program applications, CarPlay/HiCar/CarLife mobile wireless interconnection, and overall intelligent experience upgrade.
In terms of safety configuration, the new Asia Dragon is equipped with Toyota Pilot advanced intelligent driving system, including PCS pre-collision safety system, DRCC dynamic radar cruise control system, PKSB parking anti-collision assistance system, RCTA reverse side blind spot warning system, etc.
