Today, the Changan Mazda MAZDA EZ-6 rolled off the production line in Nanjing. Mazda and Changan jointly developed the new car. It is built on the EPA platform. Mazda handled the design. Changan provided the powertrain and other features. The new car will offer both extended-range and pure electric versions.
The Mazda EZ-6 features a design that follows the “Kodo” design language. The car measures 4921mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1485mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 2895mm.
The new car features a floating 14.6-inch touchscreen. It runs on an 8155 chip. The car includes a 14-speaker Sony audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, and front zero-gravity seats. The Changan Mazda EZ-6 comes with four million-pixel high-definition panoramic cameras. It also has twelve high-performance ultrasonic radars. These systems can identify 108 types of parking spaces, including vertical, horizontal, diagonal, and those without lines. The car offers five smart parking functions: automatic parking, remote parking, remote entry and exit, remote smart parking, and trajectory reversing.
The pure electric version features a single motor. It delivers a maximum power of 190 kW. Customers can choose between two battery capacities: 56.1 kWh and 68.8 kWh. The CLTC range reaches 480 kilometers and 600 kilometers, respectively.
