On July 22, Audi launched its new flagship SUV, the Q family. The Q7, SQ7, and Q8 completed a 1,600-kilometer journey from “Kunlun Extreme” to “Tianshan Peak.” They held the launch event at Tianshan Peak.
At the press conference, Audi launched nine models. The Q7 has four versions, priced from 609,800 to 804,800 yuan (110650$). The SQ7 offers one version at 1,098,800 yuan (13580$). The Q8 also has four versions, priced from 786,800 to 1,084,800 yuan (11660$). The biggest change in this upgrade is the shift of many options to standard features. All three models come with quattro all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension as standard. Audi collaborated with China National Geography for an extreme exploration event to showcase this strength. The event included traversing snow-capped mountains, deserts, and heavy rain. The cars faced muddy terrain and extreme weather. Despite these challenges, the three models performed excellently. The Q7’s most notable exterior change is the new large honeycomb grille. It now features a new color, Ascari Blue. The Q7 also introduces a five-seat version of the 45 TFSI Black Edition, enhancing space versatility. The Q8 showcases a new aesthetic design with frameless doors and a streamlined Audi logo. It adds a new color, Sakir Orange. Many previously high-end options are now standard, giving the Q8 superior comfort and safety compared to competitors like the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. The SQ7 speaks for itself with its exclusive S family design, RS-style sports seats, and a new Istanbul Red color. It features the only 4.0L twin-turbo V8 in its class and an all-wheel steering system, making it a favorite among performance car enthusiasts.
