On July 25, 2024, Chery launched the new hybrid SUV, the Fengyun T10. This model targets the mid-size SUV market. It offers two seating configurations: five-seat and six-seat. The vehicle features the C-DM plug-in hybrid system. Chery released three variants of the T10, priced between 189,900 and 229,900 yuan (31840$). The trade-in subsidy price ranges from 169,900 to 199,900 yuan (27690$).
The Chery Fengyun T10 maintains the design style of the Fengyun family. It features a fully enclosed front with vertical decorations, giving it a futuristic look. The logo on the front adopts a flat design, complemented by two chrome trims above and below. This enhances the vehicle’s luxury feel.
The car’s side features smooth and full lines. The continuous waistline design and hidden door handles enhance the sleek profile. The B, C, and D pillars use high-gloss black trim for a hidden effect, creating a floating roof appearance. The new model includes 20-inch dual-color multi-spoke wheels to minimize drag. In terms of size, the new model positions itself as a mid-large SUV. Its dimensions are 4850mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1712mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm. It offers both 5-seat and 6-seat configurations.
The rear of the car continues the design style of the Chery Fengyun family. The taillights feature a red and black color scheme. The English logo appears in the taillight group. This design aligns with the aesthetic preferences of Chinese consumers. The rear bumper design adds depth. The C-DM badge at the back highlights its power system.
The interior features a dual-screen design. The Fengyun T10 eliminates most physical buttons. It keeps only a few shortcut buttons for a minimalist style. The air conditioning vents have a rectangular shape. The flat-bottomed steering wheel enhances the interior quality. The materials include many soft and leather-wrapped surfaces. The 12.3-inch multimedia screen features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. This ensures smooth system performance. The car includes the Lion Smart Cloud interactive system. It offers AR navigation, facial recognition, smart voice control, and remote app control. Additionally, the new model has a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display. It shows speed, dynamic ADAS, navigation, and phone information. For safety, the Fengyun T10 includes a leading L2.5 intelligent driving assistance system. It features ACC adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, lane departure warning, AVP autonomous parking, and NOC navigation assistance.
In the space section, the Chery Fengyun T10 offers both 5-seat and 6-seat versions. The front seats feature heating, ventilation, and memory functions. The passenger seat includes a queen seat. The 5-seat version has heated second-row seats. The 6-seat version adds electric adjustment, ventilation, massage, and memory functions to the two independent rear seats.
