On August 8, 2024, Neta Auto released official images of its first shooting brake model, the Neta S Shooting Brake. The new car features a sportier design with a larger rear, appealing to young consumers. It shares the same powertrain options as the current Neta S, offering both pure electric and range-extended systems. Pre-sales will start on August 12.
The Nezha S Shooting Brake is the first model built on the 2.0 version of the Shanhai platform. The official images show that the front design follows the current Nezha S style. The car features sharp, low body lines, a closed grille, and trendy split headlights, giving it a futuristic look. Additionally, the new car retains a lidar on the roof. Like the current Nezha S, the new model is expected to offer advanced driver assistance features.
The side and rear of the Nezha S wagon stand out. The side design features a large rear, giving it a longer appearance. The upward waistline and slightly sloping roof enhance its sporty look. This design shifts the visual center further back, creating a more dynamic effect.
The Nezha S shooting brake can carry bicycles and a roof box. Its design emphasizes an outdoor feel, aligning with shooting brake characteristics. The car features 20-inch petal-style five-spoke wheels. These wheels complement the elegant side lines and enhance the overall look. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4980mm in length, 1980mm in width, and 1480mm in height. The height increases by 30mm compared to the Nezha S. The wheelbase remains the same at 2980mm, positioning it as a mid-large vehicle.
The rear design features many elements from Nezha Auto. The distinctive贯穿式 tail lights stand out. The rear lines are sleek. You can easily recognize it as a Nezha model.
The interior features a dual-tone color scheme. Light colors dominate the design, creating a fresh and bright atmosphere. The new car targets the mid-size segment. Its roofline is smoother than the sedan version. This design increases rear headroom and enhances passenger comfort.
The Nezha S Shooting Brake offers both pure electric and extended range versions. Buyers can choose between two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The pure electric model features a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 200 kW or 370 kW. The extended range version uses a power system that combines a 1.5-liter range extender and an electric motor, with the motor delivering 200 kW of maximum power. The Nezha S Shooting Brake is likely to use the CATL Shenxing battery from the L series. This battery is the world’s first lithium iron phosphate 4C fast-charging battery, providing a safer and more convenient charging experience. The new car features a front double wishbone and a rear five-link suspension system.
