The first customer delivery vehicle of the Yangwang U9 officially rolled off the production line. On August 16, Yangwang Auto announced this milestone. The delivery process will begin soon.
In February, the Yangwang brand launched its first pure electric supercar, the U9. It costs 1.68 million yuan. The car features the “Time-Space Gate” design language, similar to the Yangwang U8. Its C-shaped headlights draw inspiration from outer space. The powerful body lines enhance its striking visual impact. The design showcases the unique character of a pure electric supercar.
The interior of the Yangwang U9 features extensive carbon fiber accents and suede upholstery. It has a symmetrical layout with a “left-right mirror” design between the driver and passenger seats. Each side includes a screen. The center console consists of a vertical central screen, an instrument screen, and a passenger entertainment screen. The car also includes ambient lighting, a starry sky intelligent screen, a Dynaudio Platinum sound system, and multifunctional sports seats. The vehicle uses the “world’s first” Easy Square U motor. The official claim states that the combination with a rotary variable sensor greatly enhances identification accuracy and response speed compared to traditional supercars. In terms of power, the vehicle features four motors with a peak torque of 1680 N·m and a peak speed of 21,000 rpm. The total power exceeds 1300 ps. It can reach a top speed of 309.19 km/h. The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 2.36 seconds, and the 0-400 meter sprint lasts 9.78 seconds. It also offers unlimited launch capabilities. For range, the Yangwang U9 comes with an 80 kWh battery. The CLTC range reaches 450 km. A dual-gun fast charge can replenish 30% to 80% in 10 minutes. A slow charge takes 7 hours to achieve the same range.
