Nezha Auto launched its first shooting brake model, the Nezha S Shooting Brake, on August 25, 2024. The new car features a sporty rear design that appeals to young consumers. It offers both pure electric and range-extended power systems. The lineup includes six models with prices ranging from 159,900 to 209,900 yuan (29460$). Additionally, the Nezha S Shooting Brake CIIC 800V version will launch in October, starting at a pre-sale price of 189,900 yuan (26650$).
The Nezha S Hunting version is the first model built on the 2.0 version of the Shan Hai platform. Its front design follows the style of the current Nezha S. The low, sharp body lines and the closed grille create a futuristic look. The popular split headlight design enhances this modern appearance.
The side and rear of the Nezha S stand out. The side design features a large rear typical of station wagons. This design makes the side appear longer. The upward waistline and slightly sloping roofline shift the visual focus backward. This creates a more dynamic look. In terms of dimensions, the Nezha S measures 4980mm in length, 1980mm in width, and 1480mm in height. The height increases by 30mm compared to the previous model. The wheelbase remains at 2980mm, positioning it as a mid-large vehicle.
The Nezha S hunting wagon roof can carry bicycles and roof boxes. This design enhances its outdoor appeal and suits the hunting wagon’s characteristics. The new car features 20-inch petal-style five-spoke wheels. These wheels complement the elegant, smooth side lines and add a finishing touch.
The rear design features many elements from Nezha Auto. It has a highly recognizable through-type taillight group. The rear lines make it clear that this is a Nezha brand vehicle.
The Nezha S shooting brake features a familiar cabin style, similar to the Nezha S. Matte gray trim, metal control knobs, and ample suede wrap create a luxurious feel. The interior now includes Force Blue, a light blue color that looks fresh. This new model is a mid-size car. Its roofline is smoother than the sedan version, providing more headroom in the rear. This enhances passenger comfort.
The open central floating island allows easy access to items. The central armrest now features a cooler with an independent compressor. Users can adjust the temperature from -6 degrees to 50 degrees. The cabin door opens from both sides. Front-row drivers and passengers can easily reach items.
The Nezha S hunting version features a clear AR-HUD head-up display. It makes information easy to view. The 17.6-inch HD central control screen offers excellent display quality. The car uses an 8155P chip, ensuring smooth system performance. The system includes smart voice control, various apps, and karaoke functions. Additionally, the new car provides multi-color ambient lighting. It pairs with a 22-speaker 7.1.4 sound system that supports sky sound effects. Whether waiting inside or driving, users enjoy a great audio-visual experience. Notably, the Nezha S hunting version also includes a cooler and warmer box with an independent compressor. It functions between -6°C and 50°C for freezing and insulation.
The new car features laser radar and an Nvidia Orin X chip. It offers advanced driving assistance. This setup significantly enhances safety and driving intelligence.
The hunting vehicle has inherent advantages. It offers a larger trunk opening and greater storage capacity. This enhances its practicality. Folding down the rear seats increases trunk volume to 1,295 liters. The trunk floor can extend downwards. The tailgate features two folding hooks. Inside, there is a 220V power source, four tie-down points, lights, and a quick-release lever for the rear seats. These features meet various loading needs.
The Nezha S Shooting Brake offers two power options: pure electric and range-extended. The range-extended version uses the Nezha Haozhi 2.0 super range-extending system, which combines an electric motor with a 1.5L range extender. The 1.5L naturally aspirated engine produces 70kW. The driving motor generates 200kW. The top speed reaches 185 km/h. Its WLTC oil consumption is 5.7L/100km when the battery is depleted. The new car features a 43kWh large battery, providing a pure electric range of 300km and a combined range of 1200km. The pure electric version includes single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive options. The rear-wheel drive version achieves a maximum power of 250kW. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version can reach 370kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The pure electric ranges are 510km and 640km, respectively. A model equipped with CATL’s CIIC 800V platform will launch in October. This new car will support 5C fast charging, providing 210km of range after just 5 minutes of charging. The new vehicle features a front double-wishbone and a rear five-link suspension system.
