The 2024 Lamborghini Esperienza Corsa track day begins at the Zhejiang International Circuit. The Revuelto and Huracán Tecnica supercars are present. This event marks the Revuelto’s first dynamic appearance in China. Let’s explore the performance of these two cars.
Zhejiang International Circuit features 16 corners with varying speeds and radii. The track follows the terrain’s ups and downs. It earns the nickname “China’s Mini Nürburgring.” It demands high performance from both vehicles and drivers. The Bull, a representative of supercars, feels at home here. It unleashes its power freely.
The Revuelto’s powertrain includes a new naturally aspirated V12 engine and three electric motors. It features a dual-clutch transmission, the first for a Lamborghini V12 sports car. This setup delivers a powerful output of 1,015 horsepower.
Revuelto features advanced chassis and aerodynamic design. It has a 100% carbon fiber front structure. In Corsa mode, designed for enhanced track driving dynamics, Revuelto achieves peak performance.
I am 190 cm tall and wear a helmet. This makes me drive in a reclined position, similar to an F1 driver. Every time I turn, my helmet hits the roof. My body feels the discomfort of G-forces. But I grip the steering wheel of the Lamborghini. The V12 engine roars behind me. In such a great venue like Zhe Circuit, these issues don’t matter.
Driving a Lamborghini reveals the true power of a supercar. Whether accelerating out of a turn or sprinting down a straight, the power feels limitless. This can be intimidating. In corners, the supercar hugs the ground. It feels like flying, with no body roll at all.
The steering is precise. Wherever you look, the front of the car turns that way. The Lamborghini’s sound is striking. Igniting the engine draws attention. Each downshift at high revs produces a roar. The engine’s growl cuts through the air.
Although the car is a four-wheel drive, I only chose sport mode. I accelerated too early while exiting the turn. This caused a slight loss of control. Looking back, that loss of control was fun. It felt like a contest between man and machine. You can’t experience that in a regular car.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica features a 5.2-liter V10 engine. It delivers up to 640 horsepower. At 6,500 RPM, it produces 565 Nm of torque. The design of the front and rear has been revamped. The sharper lines enhance aerodynamic performance.
The performance on the track excites. This car features rear-wheel steering. During slow maneuvers around cones, the vehicle feels agile. This function aids in everyday U-turns. On the track, it proves to be a powerful tool.
