In design, the new car does not change much from the current model. It features a closed front face from the high-end version. This creates a more harmonious visual effect. The new car offers five color options: Ice Crystal Silver, Golden Black, Deep Space Gray, Sky Blue, and the new Interstellar Blue.
The new SUV measures 5020mm in length, 1945mm in width, and 1760mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2820mm. This model targets the mid-large SUV segment. The side and rear designs remain unchanged. It showcases a classic family SUV look. The design avoids excess flair and appears very stable.
The main difference in appearance is the removal of the laser radar. The new car features the HUAWEI ADS basic version. It includes three millimeter-wave radars, ten high-definition visual perception cameras, and twelve ultrasonic radars. This system enables NCA intelligent driving assistance on national highways and urban expressways. However, it lacks the urban NCA function found in the higher version. The interior remains largely unchanged. It follows the brand’s consistent design style. The 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and 15.6-inch central display serve as the visual focal points. The new car offers five-seat and six-seat versions. The seats use Nappa leather. They support beach chair mode. The front and rear seats come with ventilation and heating functions. The six-seat version includes massage functions for the front and rear seats. It also features rear zero-gravity seats.
The Wenjie M7 Pro retains the range-extended power system from the current model. It features a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 112 kW. Buyers can choose between a single motor rear-wheel drive and a dual motor all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive delivers 200 kW, while the all-wheel drive offers 330 kW. The car includes a 38.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack from CATL. It achieves a pure electric range of 230 km under CLTC standards. The total range reaches 1290 km. At the end of the press conference, the new coupe SUV, Zhi Jie R7, jointly developed by Hongmeng Zhixing and Chery Automobile, made its debut. The event revealed only the exterior. The vehicle will appear at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show. The new car measures 4956mm in length, 1981mm in width, and 1634mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2950mm.
