In China, the sixth-generation power battery system in new generation models will begin trial production by the end of this year. The first new generation model will officially launch in Shenyang in 2026. Additionally, the Chinese R&D team plans to start road tests for BMW’s new generation models in 2025. They will conduct tests at the EMC, BMW Group’s largest and most comprehensive electromagnetic compatibility laboratory globally.
