The new car features 15 aerodynamic optimizations. It reduces drag by 102 counts. This change boosts the range by over 60 km. The overall drag coefficient reaches 0.194 Cd. The car measures 4780 mm in length, 1896 mm in width, and 1445 mm in height. The wheelbase spans 2815 mm.
The rear design echoes the front. The LED tail lights feature the “010” starry pattern. The slightly raised rear wing enhances the sporty feel and improves aerodynamics. The new car includes a standard electric liftgate. The trunk offers a standard volume of 621L, expandable to 1603L.
The interior of the Xiaopeng MONA M03 features AI tuning and optimization. It looks very simple. The new car adopts a no-dashboard design. Most functions integrate into the 15.6-inch central touchscreen.
The new car features an 8155 chip, 16GB of memory, and 128GB of storage. It operates smoothly without lag. The system supports multi-finger gestures. Users can swipe back and perform multi-touch actions easily, like using an iPad. It recognizes natural language voice commands. Users can have continuous voice conversations for 20 seconds and process multiple commands at once.
The Xiaopeng MONA M03 features 18 custom PSS speakers. PSS and Xiaopeng optimized the sound through over 40 tuning rounds. The system uses a 7.1.4 overhead layout. It expands sound into three-dimensional space. This setup delivers an audio experience surpassing luxury sound systems. The innovative music atmosphere map adapts to the rhythm. It also includes a 1.35m surround 256-color ambient light, the longest in its class.
The Xiaopeng MONA M03 cabin expansion component allows users to DIY based on their preferences. More fun cabin expansion components will launch in the future. They will meet users’ personalized needs.
Smart assisted driving is a strong point for Xiaopeng. The M03 showcases this strength. The new car features over 20 smart sensing hardware components, including 2 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 7 cameras. It offers a lane-level L2 driving experience. Standard features include LCC, ACC, and a 360-degree imaging system. The car also has a full-scene intelligent parking system. It supports a comprehensive self-developed parking solution. It can park in two high-frequency extreme spaces. It supports dead-end spaces and side-limited spaces. It can directly park in side-forward spaces without needing to drive past them first to activate APA. Additionally, the Xiaopeng MONA M03 uses a fully self-developed global lane-level 3D perception rendering map. It comes standard with full-scene vehicle sensing SR. It integrates smart driving hardware perception with a global real-time big data platform. This enables real-time rendering and feedback of the surrounding traffic and road environment. It accurately guides positioning down to the lane level, handling complex intersections, overpasses, and ramps with ease. For users seeking an ultimate smart experience, Xiaopeng will launch the MONA M03 Max. This model features the full-scene intelligent assisted driving XNGP. It offers the only advanced smart assisted driving under 200,000, with no restrictions on cities, routes, or road conditions.
The Xiaopeng MONA M03 chassis undergoes repeated tuning by a professional team. It features a super low center of gravity at 479mm. The suspension system adapts to complex and bumpy road conditions. It has over 30 iterations of hard point optimization and five rounds of deep tuning. This results in a high-quality damping effect, making speed bumps feel softer. The car boasts the smallest turning radius in its class at 5.3m and a 14.2 steering ratio. This achieves the best balance between low-speed agility and high-speed stability. The steering wheel requires just 1.35 turns to lock, allowing smooth U-turns even in a narrow 1.5-lane road.
In terms of braking, the Xiaopeng MONA M03 features the BOSCH IPB intelligent integrated braking system and CST comfort stop function. These innovations reduce braking response time by two-thirds. The stopping distance is now just 35.63 meters, giving users more control. The car also excels in steady-state cornering. In a 30-meter radius test, it maintains a speed of 65 km/h with ease. The steady-state lateral acceleration exceeds 0.9 g, providing stable handling in curves. For power and range, the new model offers two motor options: 140 kW and 160 kW. It comes with two lithium iron phosphate blade battery options: 51.8 kWh and 62.2 kWh. Under CLTC conditions, the range reaches 515 kilometers and 620 kilometers, respectively.
