The 2021 model sees changes this month. Complaints rise by 17.4% compared to last month. Most complaints focus on some domestic and Japanese brands. 2024 is more than half over. Complaints for the 2024 model reach a peak this year. They increase by 27.9% compared to last month. The rise in complaints relates to some domestic new energy models.
This month, complaints about gasoline cars approached 10,000 again. They rose by 13.6% compared to last month. Complaints remained steady, still dominating energy-related issues. Notably, complaints about hybrid cars doubled, increasing by about 1.7 percentage points. Most complaints focused on certain Japanese brands. Additionally, complaints about electric vehicles rose for the second consecutive month, increasing by 11.9% since July. However, their share slightly declined.
