On September 9, the 2025 BYD Han officially launched. The new car’s price ranges from 165,800 to 235,800 yuan (33100$). The company announced various launch benefits. Although this is a facelift model, the changes are significant. The 2025 Han DM-i / EV features laser radar and the Orin X smart driving chip. It uses fifth-generation DM technology and upgrades to a five-link rear suspension. The new car optimizes the exterior design, intelligence, and power technology.

The new Han DM-i uses the fifth-generation DM hybrid system. It features a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 156 horsepower. The motor delivers a maximum power of 272 horsepower. It matches with a FeiDi lithium iron phosphate blade battery. The new Han hybrid version includes 12.960/18.316 kWh batteries. Its curb weight is 1860/1910 kg. Under WLTC conditions, it achieves a range of 70 km and 102 km. The fuel consumption in low battery mode is 4.7 L/100 km. The Han EV features a pure electric power system. It outputs a maximum power of 228 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Since the first BYD Han model launched in early July 2020, the Han family has sold 800,000 units.
