The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a set of application materials for the Xingtu Xingjiyuan ES extended-range model. The new car will feature a 1.5T range extender and a lithium iron phosphate battery. It is expected to launch within the year.
The new car looks similar to the current Xingjiyuan ES. It still uses the family design style of the New Era. For power, the new car features a 1.5T range extender from Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., coded SQRH4J15. Based on the New Era ET range-extended version, the new car is expected to have a total system power of 195 kW and a total torque of 324 N·m.
The new car will feature a 32kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. It offers a pure electric range of 200km and a total range of over 1500km.
