On September 24, Changan officially launched the pre-sale of the fourth-generation CS75 PLUS. The new car will first offer two 1.5T models. The pre-sale price ranges from 121,900 to 129,900 yuan (18490$). To boost interest, Changan announced attractive purchase policies. Customers who place orders before October 16 will receive a total value of 34,888 yuan (4970$) in exclusive booking gifts. This includes a 5,000 yuan (710$) upgrade for the co-pilot zero-gravity queen seat, a 10,000 yuan (1420$) manufacturer upgrade subsidy for brand exchanges, and lifetime data-free rights, among other benefits.
The Changan CS75 PLUS remains a strong player in the SUV market. In 2023, it sold 216,494 units. This model leads Changan’s sales and ranks fifth in the overall SUV sales chart. The CS75 PLUS attracts significant market attention. For Changan, upgrading the CS75 PLUS is a major event. The fourth-generation CS75 PLUS features many upgrades compared to the previous model. In terms of appearance, it adopts a new borderless trapezoidal grille. The grille is larger than before and includes a grid structure. The design creates a striking “V” shape. The fourth-generation Changan CS75 PLUS features the upgraded Blue Whale 1.5T engine. It comes standard with the Aisin 8AT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 141 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm. This marks an increase of over 3 kW and 10 Nm compared to the current engine. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7.9 seconds, with a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 6.89 L/100 km. Additionally, Changan announced that models with the 2.0T engine will launch in December.
The fourth-generation Changan CS75 PLUS features a wrap-around cockpit. It boasts a 37-inch triple screen design that exudes technology.
