New Car Introduction [Hongqi HS3 PHEV]
The Red Flag HS3 PHEV looks similar to the gasoline version. It features a classic straight waterfall grille. The daytime running lights have a distinctive U-shape. The car measures 4655mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1668mm in height. The wheelbase is 2770mm.
The interior focuses on technology and sportiness. It features a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.6-inch central touchscreen. The car has a flat-bottom, three-spoke steering wheel. The new model uses a plug-in hybrid system that combines a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine delivers 124 kW of power, while the motor provides 140 kW. It comes with an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a pure electric range of 115 km under CLTC conditions. The transmission system includes a single-speed DHT gearbox. The new Hongqi H5 2025 model features minimal changes in overall appearance. It introduces a blackened version. This version uses black design elements on the grille, front lip, headlights, taillights, and rear bumper, making it look cooler than the standard version. The new car removes the Aurora Blue, Hongqi Red, and Yao Ye Brown colors. Its dimensions are 4988 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm.
The blacked-out model features an all-black or black-red interior. The roof and related parts receive a black finish. It uses a D-shaped steering wheel. Other models drop the soft light brown/graphite black and ivory white/rose gray color options.
In terms of configuration, the new Hongqi H5 2025 upgrades the onboard system memory from 6G to 8G. The Qiyun version and above adds front soundproof glass. The 1.5T Qiyun version includes a 360-degree panoramic camera and heated front seats. The 2.0T Qichang version adds a luminous badge and lane centering assist. The new car also optimizes the options package, adding front seat ventilation and automatic parking. For power, the new Hongqi H5 2025 offers three engine choices: 1.5T gasoline, 2.0T gasoline, and 1.5T hybrid. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power of 124kW and pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 2.0T engine produces 165kW and pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5T hybrid version generates 124kW from the engine and 140kW from the motor, pairing with a DHT transmission.
