The body size has slight adjustments. The main updates include the installation of NVIDIA OrinX+ and Qualcomm SA8295P dual flagship chips across all models and an upgrade in intelligent driving. The chassis now features a digital chassis with active rear steering technology. Customers can choose between single-motor and dual-motor versions. The launch includes five models, with prices ranging from 216,900 to 279,900 yuan (39920$). The promotional pricing ends on October 8 at midnight. See the image below for specific model prices.
The new Zhiji LS6 exudes technology. Its design elements are original. The style continues from the previous LS6. The front features a minimalist family design. The overall shape uses few lines, creating a softer vibe. The new model redesigns the headlights and fog lights. The grille area shrinks, enhancing a rugged feel.
The front face changes focus on the light units. The leaf-shaped LED headlights create a sporty look. The new Falcon Intelligent Lighting System features a 165° wide-angle illumination range. It supports various smart lighting functions. The triangular fog light area and the large air intake give a bold appearance. The prominent lower lip enhances the sporty style. The large closed grille and radar at the lower middle align with its identity as a new energy vehicle.
The car features a unique waistline design. The narrow windows and large doors create a dynamic look. It also includes frameless doors and pop-out hidden door handles. The glass uses double-layer laminated material for better sound insulation. The new LS6 measures 4910mm in length, 1998mm in width, and 1668mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2960mm. Compared to the previous model, the length increased by 6mm and the wheelbase by 10mm, thanks to the evolved chassis.
The rear of the new Zhiji LS6 remains similar to the current model. The coupe-style roof creates a compact visual effect. The details have more depth. The contoured lines match the characteristics of a coupe. The star ring LED taillights stand out as a highlight. The sculpted rear shape enhances the visual appeal. The ISC flowing light interaction taillights add dimension. Together with the small ducktail, they emphasize a stronger sporty vibe.
The new Zhiji LS6 interior continues the “Italian light luxury cabin” family style. The floating large screen on the center console creates a strong visual impact. Below, a vertical control screen manages air conditioning and other functions. The cabin features extensive genuine leather, soft materials, and chrome trim, enhancing its refinement and luxury. Wood grain panels add warmth to the overall design, creating a cozy home-like atmosphere. The semi-bifurcated YAT cruise steering wheel remains, adding a strong sense of technology.
The new car features the “IMOS Future Smart Cabin.” It includes a 26.3-inch central control screen, a 10.5-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 15.5-inch passenger screen. Together, they form a large display powered by the IM OS smart interaction system. The system upgrades to the Qualcomm 8295 chip, ensuring fast response times. It offers mainstream functions like panoramic imaging, vehicle settings, multimedia, and air conditioning controls through the screen. The new Zhiji LS6 also includes DZT virtual-actual space dynamic area tracking technology. The full-frame digital cockpit screen integrates real-time images from interior and exterior mirrors. It features blind spot assistance and rain night mode. This technology tracks and highlights traffic hazards in real time, aiding driver awareness. Notably, the Future Smart Cabin’s “Rain Night Mode 2.0” uses AI to detect water puddles ahead, enhancing driving safety.
The new Zhiji LS6 features the latest generation IMOS 3.0 and a new electronic architecture. It includes the Nvidia Orin X and Qualcomm SA8295P dual flagship chips. The system integrates the high-performance S32G chip. In terms of smart driving, IM AD upgrades all models with the end-to-end large model “No High-Precision Map NOA,” launching nationwide within the year. The latest addition, “AVP One-Key Valet Parking,” covers all driving scenarios, including roundabouts, U-turns, and toll stations.
The new IM LS6 features POPO seats in the front and rear. These seats have a one-piece design with butterfly headrests that enhance sportiness. The passenger seat offers a 121° zero-gravity comfort position. The rear sofa has a 10-position, 18° adjustable backrest. It provides three relaxation modes: a zero-gravity mode for lying flat at 121°, a chaise lounge mode for full-body stretching, and a bed mode that connects to the trunk for extra space when the rear seats fold down. The cabin seatback now uses a 2.0 version magnetic interface. This supports external accessories like small tables, hooks, reading lights, and storage boxes. In terms of power, the new IM LS6 has a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. It delivers a total power of 579 kW and a maximum torque of 800 N·m. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 3.48 seconds, with a top speed of 252 km/h. It supports three platforms: 900V, 800V, and 400V. The vehicle offers three battery options: 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate, 83 kWh ternary lithium, and 100 kWh ternary lithium. The CLTC range covers 625 to 802 kilometers.
The all-new Zhiji LS6 features a front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspension. It uses self-developed Lingxi digital chassis technology. This technology integrates rear-wheel steering, intelligent electronic dampers, air suspension, and electric drive. It achieves coordinated control of the vehicle’s body posture in three dimensions: X, Y, and Z. The LS6 offers advanced functions such as crab mode, ICS cloud platform braking, single-wheel recovery, and active roll-over prevention. It can handle complex driving scenarios like road edge navigation, narrow U-turns, and intelligent parking. The official claim states that the vehicle can drive with almost no lateral sway or tilt, providing a superior comfortable stopping experience. It also supports full-architecture performance OTA updates.
