On October 10, Xpeng Motors unveiled the new P7+ model. The P7+ is the first model equipped with Xpeng’s next-generation autonomous driving hardware platform. It features the Eagle Eye pure vision advanced driving system as standard. The new car will start pre-sales on October 14 at the Paris Auto Show and will officially launch in early November. For reference, the current official price range for the P7i is 223,900 to 339,900 yuan (48100$).

The name suggests the new car is a revamped P7, but it is not. The P7+ looks like a completely new model. First, the design features a family-style continuous LED light strip and separate headlights. The front adds air vents. The hood and surrounding areas appear fuller and sportier.

After its launch, the Xpeng P7+ will be the largest sedan in the Xpeng lineup.

The interior of the Xiaopeng P7+ features a simple design. It includes a floating full LCD instrument panel and a large central screen. The overall design closely resembles the Xiaopeng X9. The materials and craftsmanship are excellent, giving the interior a high-quality feel. Additionally, the new car uses manual non-hidden air vents, making it easier for users to adjust airflow.

The car machine features the familiar Xiaopeng Tianji system. It has a 15.6-inch central control screen. The device uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip.

The Xiaopeng P7+ is a rare spacious coupe. The second-row legroom is ample. All four seats offer ventilation, heating, and massage. The features are top-notch. Official reports claim it improves perception distance by 125% and recognition speed by 40%. Additionally, it is the first in the industry to use a single-pixel LOFIC architecture. It performs well in low light, backlight, and high dynamic range conditions.

The Xiaopeng P7+ features an 800V architecture across all models. It only offers a rear-wheel-drive single motor version. The rear motor delivers a maximum power of 180kW or 230kW. For batteries, the P7+ uses lithium iron phosphate battery packs. It offers two specifications: 60.7kWh and 76.3kWh. The corresponding electric range is 575km and 685km. With smaller wheels, the range can reach 602km and 710km.
