On October 13, Lantu Auto launched its fourth model, the Lantu Zhiyin. The new car offers four variants, priced from 196,900 to 236,900 yuan (33420$). The long-range smart version has a limited release of 3,000 units, priced at only 179,900 yuan (25380$). The Lantu Zhiyin is the first model developed on Lantu’s new generation self-researched pure electric platform. It uses an 800V platform and achieves a maximum range of 901 km. Its main competitor is the Tesla Model Y.
The new car features the signature贯穿式 headlight design. The illuminated logo connects with the daytime running lights and the headlights. The front lines remain simple. The fog light areas stand out. The岚图知音, as a global car, simplifies its design compared to earlier models. It looks cleaner and more appealing. This design suits a broader market aesthetic.
The Lantu Zhi Yin measures 4725 mm long, 1900 mm wide, and 1636 mm high. Its wheelbase is 2900 mm. The car features a floating roof design. The rear includes a roof spoiler, a ducktail design, and a diffuser.
The new car features a simple style for the center console. The design is symmetrical. It includes a floating large screen. A section for placing a phone also exists. Many car brands use this interior solution.

In terms of smart driving, the Lantu Zhi Yin lacks LiDAR. However, it features NOA point-to-point smart driving assistance. It can automatically enter and exit ramps, change lanes, overtake, avoid large vehicles, and choose optimal lanes. It also offers APA automatic parking, RPA remote parking, RDA tracking reverse, and RVM remote maneuvering. Overall, it provides a comprehensive set of functions.
The new car features the latest generation of Lantu’s pure electric powertrain. It offers both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models. Consumers can choose from various power and battery specifications. Notably, the car achieves a maximum range of 901 km, the longest range currently on the 800V platform. It also includes 5C supercharging technology, allowing for 515 km of range in just 15 minutes. Charging from 20% to 80% takes only 10 minutes. The Lantu Zhiyin comes with a CDC variable damping suspension system, promising an excellent driving experience.
