The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i showcases the “ripple aesthetics” design of the Geely Galaxy family. It features a tall, robust, and wide body. The front “galaxy ripple” lights connect to the rear “rising sun” tail lights. This design enhances the vehicle’s recognition and highlights a strong Chinese aesthetic.
The side profile of the car appears smooth and full. The seemingly simple light and shadow come from nine different curved surfaces. The dimensions are 4740mm in length, 1905mm in width, and 1685mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2755mm. The design includes 20 low-drag features, such as hidden wipers, a low-drag front lip, and a low-drag rear wing. The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i achieves an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.288Cd, comparable to sedans.
The car features a continuous taillight. It looks simple yet stylish. The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i offers six colors: Willow Green, Flowing Moon Silver, First Snow White, Misty Gray, Ink Shadow Black, and Sky Blue. These colors draw inspiration from the Ten Scenic Views of West Lake in Hangzhou.
The interior of the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i showcases Chinese aesthetic elements effectively. The floating sound system resembles “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.” The seats echo the design of a “Chinese Grand Master Chair.” Detailed stitching reflects the theme “Dare to Ride the Waves.” This design creates a highly comfortable driving atmosphere. Thanks to the advantages of the GEA architecture, the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i boasts a class-leading 84.3% ultra-high length-to-area ratio. The spacious layout offers generous headroom, shoulder room, and knee room for rear passengers.

The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i offers an 84.3% usable space rate. It features 34 storage areas. Folding down the second row provides a volume of 2065 liters.
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i stands strong due to the forward development of the GEA architecture. Its structural layout naturally isolates oil and electricity for safety. The fully equipped four-link E-type suspension offers a stable driving experience. It provides spaciousness comparable to a B-class vehicle while achieving a 5.3m turning radius, akin to smaller cars. Safety, space, handling, and comfort all excel, meeting users’ expectations for an A-class hybrid SUV.
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i features the new generation Geely Thor EM-i super electric hybrid. It combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with a plug-in hybrid system. The engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 46.5% and delivers a maximum power of 82kW. It has a 51L fuel tank. With a full tank and full charge, it offers a total range of 1430km. In low battery mode, it consumes 3.75L/100km. Professional tests recorded an average fuel consumption of 3.2L per 100km. This sets a new standard for SUV fuel efficiency, entering the 3L era. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.5 seconds. It saves fuel without sacrificing power.
In terms of batteries, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i features exclusive hybrid shield short blade batteries. It offers two battery options: 19.09 kWh and 28.94 kWh. The pure electric range reaches 101 km and 150 km, respectively. The exclusive short blade battery has high energy density and strong safety. It passes the “8-pin simultaneous piercing” test without smoke, fire, or explosion. Its safety exceeds strict national standards, achieving “military-grade” safety.
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i relies on the GEA architecture. It features industry-leading power design. The engine, P1 motor, and P3 motor back each other up. This setup prevents power loss and vehicle stalling. The E-DHT 11-in-1 hybrid electric drive structure is compact and lightweight. It reduces weight by 13.5%. The Shield battery offers smart diagnostics and industry-leading 5-level redundancy algorithms. This ensures precise battery estimation and prevents power issues from under-voltage. The PCM efficiency reaches an industry-leading 99%. It uses a dual-end X-Pin flat wire winding motor, dual-motor intelligent optimization control, and a dedicated Shield plug-in hybrid battery. The P3 motor power upgrades to 160 kW. It delivers optimal power output and energy efficiency in all conditions.
The Thor EM-i super hybrid technology received two professional certifications from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center: “Driving Control Safety” and “Power Depletion High-Speed Stability.” The Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i conducted extreme power depletion tests at 155 km/h on a high ring. It ran continuously for two hours without performance degradation.
