At the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, the new Cadillac XT6 launched. Its price ranges from 349,900 to 409,900 yuan (56670$). The updated XT6 significantly upgrades comfort and functionality in the second-row seats.
One highlight of the new Cadillac XT6 is the upgraded second-row seats. They offer adjustable heating, massage, and ventilation. The seats include a four-way pneumatic lumbar support, four-way airbag massage, and six-way adjustable headrests. This design ensures excellent comfort and support.
Unlike rigid sports seats, the XT6 seats provide gentle support at the waist. The headrests can also raise on both sides, securely holding the head. Even during a short nap while driving, you won’t worry about comfort due to vehicle movement. The seats use OPUS leather, which is 30% softer than Nappa leather. The leather surface coating is only 40-60% of that of regular leather. Each seat undergoes over 22 hours of pure hand stitching, offering a delicate and luxurious feel. The Platinum model features diamond quilted perforations and incorporates a V-shaped pattern inspired by the Cadillac emblem, enhancing its unique visual appeal.
The third row is easier to enter. An open passage exists between the two independent seats in the second row. Two-section armrests increase the passage width by 13.5 cm. This provides ample space for third-row passengers to enter and exit.
The new XT6 upgrades its tech features. It includes a 10-inch central screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Both offer clearer resolution and responsive touch feedback. The car system supports CarLife, CarPlay, OTA updates, active noise cancellation, streaming rearview mirror, and USB and Type-C ports. This setup provides users with a comprehensive smart tech experience. On the power front, the new Cadillac XT6 features a 2.0T + 48V mild hybrid system. It also includes intelligent cylinder deactivation. When driving steadily at 40-60 km/h, this system can deactivate cylinders and switch to two-cylinder mode, significantly reducing fuel consumption. This advanced technology stands out in the era of fuel vehicles and reflects Cadillac’s commitment to energy saving and emission reduction in the hybrid field.
The Cadillac XT6 attracted much attention at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Its luxurious design and high-tech features showcased Cadillac’s commitment to luxury and innovation.
