The second-generation AION V draws inspiration from the powerful Tyrannosaurus DNA. It uses an original “ecological functionality” design language. This design integrates power, technology, and emotion. The overall style is robust. Straight lines create a bold look, similar to the Tyrannosaurus. The front headlights feature vertical daytime running lights. The official name for this design is Cyber Dragon Claw.
The car’s side lines are sleek. They maximize interior space. The new car measures 4605 mm in length, 1854 mm in width, and 1660 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2775 mm.
The rear style matches the front with a minimalist design. It features smooth curves and a strong character. The flat, square rear wing and sharp lines enhance the vehicle’s power. The new taillights echo the front headlights but have a vertical layout. Their light sources resemble the dragon claw design of the headlights.
The second-generation AION V features an evolving AI cabin. It introduces the ADiGO SENSE AI model. This model meets individual needs and continues to evolve. It also includes iFlytek’s unique “in-vehicle education expert.” Thanks to the new AEP electric digital platform, the car increases interior space utilization by 20%. The front seats fold flat with one button, creating a 6-meter flat space. The rear seats can recline to 137°. It includes a smart refrigerator with a temperature range of -15℃ to 50℃, Belgium’s Primium9 speakers for high-end audio, four-zone voice interaction, a large central control screen, and VtoL power output. For smart driving, the second-generation AION V features the ADiGO PILOT system. It uses the advanced Orin X chip and lidar. With cutting-edge AI algorithms, it offers self-learning navigation technology. This system accurately perceives the environment without relying on high-precision maps. It enables urban NDA, highway NDA, and one-button remote parking for advanced smart driving.
AION calls the AIONRT the “AION Raptor.” It features a new family design. The front is low and flat. The hood has strong, raised lines. The closed grille has a large area of blank space. Designers shaped side air intakes on both sides. The lower part has a trapezoidal grille, enhancing the sporty feel. The headlights have a more three-dimensional and rounded design, highlighting elegance.
The new car positions itself as an A+ class sedan. Its dimensions are 4865mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1520mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2775mm. The roofline features an innovative electric sedan design. It achieves a smooth 3.48-meter curve with a 20-degree “G4 curvature.” The sleek shape, low-drag wheels, hidden door handles, and streamlined mirrors contribute to a drag coefficient as low as 0.208Cd. The rear design echoes the front, maintaining a youthful style. The coupe shape draws attention. The non-continuous “arrow feather taillights” feature a flat design, making them more distinctive.
The cabin features a traditional T-shaped layout. It combines an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel with a 14.6-inch HD central control screen. This design aligns with current interior trends. The dual-spoke steering wheel includes a design for the gear shift. The interior color scheme emphasizes a home style. It uses soft materials extensively. Dark wood accents appear throughout the cabin. The rear seatback includes a loop similar to those found on luxury bags. The new car offers heated and ventilated seats. The seats feature a 30mm composite low-density soft surface and a pleasant ultra-fine leather finish. In terms of space, the front seatbacks recline completely back to 180°, connecting seamlessly with the rear seat cushions to create a flat area.
AION RT offers two motor power options: 150kW and 165kW. It features a 68kWh 2.0 battery. The car provides two range options: 520 kilometers and 650 kilometers. The new model includes 400V silicon carbide 3C fast charging technology. It charges from 30% to 80% in 18 minutes. In just 10 minutes, it can add 200 kilometers of range.
