The limited-time introductory price is 79,800 to 86,800 RMB. The BinYue L is an upgrade from the BinYue COOL. This redesign focuses on exterior and interior enhancements. Now, let’s review the launch and details of the new vehicle. Pricing and benefits.
New Car Review
The main change in the front end lies in the grille. Unlike the old model’s explosive design, the new design is more understated. It emphasizes horizontal visual width. The new model looks more powerful than the old one.
The new car features a two-tone body design. This small SUV maintains a youthful, sporty look. Its dimensions are 4380 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1609 mm in height. The wheelbase measures 2600 mm.
The changes at the rear focus on the bumper area. It now features chrome trim, adding a touch of refinement. The rear bumper lacks the red lines and honeycomb elements of the old model. Overall, it appears more understated, similar to the front. However, it still offers dual exhausts and a center fog light, elements typical of performance cars.
The interior changes stand out. The most notable upgrade is the 14.6-inch central control screen. Compared to the old model’s clunky design, the new screen feels more aligned with electric vehicles.
The car features the Flyme Auto system. It supports HUAWEI HiCar, Carlink, and Flyme link connectivity. I recently tested the Geely Cowboy with similar specifications. I find this car’s system impressive for its price.
The new car features a 1.5T engine. It delivers a maximum power of 181 Ps and 133 kW. The maximum torque reaches 290 Nm. It pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The front uses MacPherson strut independent suspension. The rear employs a torsion beam non-independent suspension. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The WLTC combined fuel consumption is 6.35 L/100 km.
