On December 5, GAC Group announced that its total vehicle sales reached 199,000 units in November 2024. This marks a 7.1% increase from the previous month. The twin stars of its self-owned brands each sold over 42,000 units. From January to November, the group exported 118,000 vehicles, up 79.0% year-on-year.
In November, GAC Aion sold 42,301 vehicles. This marked a 1.8% year-on-year increase and a 10.9% month-on-month rise. The Aion RT launched as a hot seller, reaching 11,811 units sold. The Haobo brand sold 3,161 vehicles in November, achieving five consecutive months of sales growth.
GAC Trumpchi sold 44,406 vehicles in November. This marks a 19.3% year-on-year increase and a 26.3% month-on-month rise. The Trumpchi MPV family sold 17,240 units, up 26.6% year-on-year and 54.9% month-on-month. Cumulative global sales surpassed 700,000, making it the fastest Chinese MPV brand to reach this milestone. The Trumpchi Ying series sold 18,146 units, with the GS3 Ying model accounting for 12,251 units. The GS3 Ying saw a 59.5% year-on-year increase and a 371.2% month-on-month increase. The Trumpchi SUV series sold 8,389 units, up 24.5% year-on-year.
GAC Honda unveiled the production version of its first Yea brand model, the P7, at the Guangzhou Auto Show. They also introduced the smart, efficient pure electric platform, Architecture W. Over the next three years, they will launch more than three models based on this platform. GAC Honda’s new electric vehicle factory, with an annual capacity of 120,000 units, will start production in December.
GAC Toyota’s terminal sales in November reached 67,493 vehicles. The hybrid sales ratio continues to rise. Camry sold 16,798 units, with hybrids accounting for 80%. Highlander sold 7,126 units, with hybrids making up 86%. Sienna sales hit 8,543 units, a 45.6% year-on-year increase. GAC Toyota’s new intelligent pure electric SUV, the Platinum Smart 3X, will launch online ordering on December 8. It offers consumers an advanced intelligent driving experience.
