The Star Era ES extended version maintains the design of the current pure electric model. It features a completely revamped front and wheel details. The new low-drag wheels stand out. Additionally, the car introduces a new Aurora Purple color.
The Star Era ES extended version features Chery’s self-developed golden range extender system. It uses a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 105 kW. The CLTC comprehensive range reaches 1645 km, while the pure electric range hits 255 km. It takes only 17.5 minutes to charge the battery pack from 20% to 80%.
The new car features the Falcon Smart Driving System. It includes 30 high-performance sensors. It uses dual Nvidia DRIVE ORIN chips with 508 TOPS of computing power. This setup enables end-to-end smart driving. It supports all scenarios, including highways, cities, and smart parking. For driving control, the Star Era ES extended version uses a front double wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link suspension. It also includes the Snow Leopard four-wheel drive system. This system achieves a class-leading acceleration of 4.6 seconds to 100 km/h and an electronic limited-slip function under 0.05 seconds.
