The entire lineup includes 35 high-value features as standard. It extends the wheelbase by 111 millimeters, ensuring high configuration from the start. In terms of appearance, the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version draws inspiration from modern architectural aesthetics. It features a minimalist design that outlines a smooth and powerful silhouette. The innovative “scales-style progressive body design” precisely controls seam differences, effectively reducing drag and wind noise.
The new BMW X3 Long Wheelbase offers an upgraded space experience. It increases the wheelbase by 111 millimeters, reaching 2,975 millimeters, the same as the standard BMW X5. The rear legroom exceeds 1 meter, and knee space nearly doubles compared to the previous generation. The premium rear seats, designed for the Chinese market, feature a seat cushion length increase of 65 millimeters. The rear seatback angle rises by 4° to 31°.
The new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version features the largest heads-up display among BMW models. The new steering wheel offers 80 millimeters of vertical adjustment, an increase of 20 millimeters. The car also includes the latest generation of the BMW operating system. Its computing power rises 2.4 times compared to the previous generation. The GPU graphics processor improves by 6.4 times.
The all-new BMW X3 long wheelbase version features a 360° intelligent active safety system. This system includes start monitoring, door collision warning, and rear-end collision warning. The vehicle also boasts significantly improved torsional stiffness. Key areas use ultra-high-strength hot-formed steel, capable of withstanding 10 tons of force per square centimeter. Additionally, the body’s corrosion resistance can last up to 15 years, far exceeding industry standards.
The new BMW X3 long wheelbase version delivers excellent power and handling. It achieves near perfect 50:50 weight distribution between the front and rear axles. This balance enhances steering, acceleration, and braking response. The system now produces a maximum power of 190 kW. The peak torque increases by 14% compared to the previous model, while fuel consumption drops by 5%. Additionally, the new electric brake system reduces full brake build-up time to 150 milliseconds. This is 2-3 times faster than traditional systems.
The new BMW X3 long wheelbase version comes with an L2 intelligent driving assistance system as standard. It also offers an L2+ intelligent driving assistance system. This includes a unique automatic ramp assistance feature with line-of-sight confirmation.
