SAIC-GM Wuling just announced that the Hongguang MINIEV four-door version received 15,379 orders since it opened for reservations in mid-December last year. This vehicle uses the Tianyu S platform. It features DC fast charging and remote connectivity via a mobile app. The new car will officially launch on February 22.
The new car features a “Sweet Fun Aesthetics” design. It continues the stylish and cute style of the Hongguang MINIEV. The front lines appear rounder and fuller. The “smiling” front face pairs with large LED light groups, giving it a charming look. It offers three trendy colors: Puff Blue, Bubble Green, and Sweet Coffee.
The Hongguang MINIEV four-door version measures 3256 * 1510 * 1578 mm. Its wheelbase reaches 2190 mm. The interior features 19 storage spaces. The trunk volume is 123 L. Folding the rear seats expands the capacity to 745 L.
The interior of the Hongguang MINIEV four-door version features a “cute and romantic” design. It maintains a minimalist style. The new car includes Autohold, an electronic handbrake, an 8-inch floating central control screen, HD rearview images, and rear parking sensors. It supports keyless entry, keyless start, and smart power on/off. The mobile app offers enhanced remote connectivity. Users can check the vehicle’s status, control locks, start the vehicle, remotely activate the air conditioning, and schedule charging.
The new car features a self-developed three-in-one electric drive. It delivers a maximum power of 30 kW. Drivers can choose from four driving modes and three energy recovery modes. The battery capacity stands at 16.2 kWh. The car achieves a CLTC range of 205 km. It supports three charging methods: DC fast charging, AC slow charging, and home charging. DC fast charging takes only 35 minutes to go from 30% to 80%. AC slow charging requires 4.8 hours to charge from 20% to 100%. The car includes a charging gun for 220V home power supply.
