Xingtu’s new model, the Lanyue C-DM, officially starts pre-sales on February 23, 2025. The car features adjustments to its exterior details. It uses the C-DM Kunpeng hybrid system. The pure electric range reaches 180 km under CLTC conditions. The total range can hit 1300 km. The new car offers two models based on configuration. The pre-sale price ranges from 239,900 to 259,900 yuan (35860$). A limited-time trade-in price is set at 209,900 to 229,900 yuan (31720$).
The exterior design of the Xingtu Lanyue C-DM follows the family style. The front face shows little change. It still features horizontal chrome trim. The large, straight trim enhances the width of the front, giving the car a more dignified appearance. The headlight design remains traditional. A light strip sits between the two headlight groups. The vertical fog lights increase the overall recognition of the front.
The side lines of the car use the existing model’s design. However, the length increases to 5010mm, placing it in the 5-meter SUV category. The wheelbase remains 2900mm. For details, the new car features a new multi-spoke 20-inch wheel. Overall, it looks impactful and fits the large SUV classification.
The rear of the Xingtu Lanyue C-DM features the biggest adjustments. It follows the “Less is more” design philosophy. The tailgate uses a flat design for a minimalist style. The interior of the Starway Langyue C-DM features a three-screen interactive cockpit. Designers drew inspiration from soaring eagles. The overall lines have more tension. The 12.3-inch entertainment screen for the front passenger removes the roll-up design of the sub-instrument panel. It directly displays function modules. This change makes operation more intuitive and convenient. The passenger entertainment screen allows users to watch movies, listen to music, and adjust the front passenger seat. The third-row seats can open and fold electronically. The third row folds down to a depth of 1180mm, providing a regular volume of 475L and a maximum volume of 784L. The Starway Langyue C-DM features a C-DM plug-in hybrid power system. This system combines a 1.5T engine, three motors, and a three-speed DHT transmission.
