On February 28, Baojun Auto unveiled the interior of its first smart ultra-comfort flagship sedan, the Baojun Xiangjing. Let’s explore the highlights of this new car’s interior!
The Baojun Enjoyment adopts a minimalist design. It creates a comfortable, elegant, and modern visual effect. Buyers can choose from three interior colors: black, white, and purple.
The car features 16.8 million full-color ambient lights. Designers place them in seven hidden locations. This creates a waterfall effect. The lights support infinite color adjustments.
The seat design combines 64% straight lines with 36% gentle curves. This creates a golden ratio. The overall visual effect appears clean and sharp. The rear seats feature a “π-shaped” symmetrical design.
The seat pattern of the Yue White interior features rippling waves. The seat patterns of the Jet Black and Deep Purple interiors draw inspiration from traditional Han motifs. Craftsmen design these seats with pure, handcrafted, asymmetrical patterns.
The Baojun Xiangjing features a dashboard, sub-dashboard, four door panels, and seat backs covered in soft PU leather. The A, B, and C pillars and the headliner use fabric coverings. The glove box, sub-dashboard storage box, trunk, and carpet are fully wrapped, achieving 100% soft covering in touch areas. The cup holders in all four doors and the map pockets in the front seats are also soft-wrapped. The vehicle has 25 PVD vacuum electroplating spots.
The seats use Nappa leather. This material is soft and breathable. It is also durable. The design features the Akebono curve. The backrest fits the spine’s natural curve. It distributes body pressure and reduces lumbar load. This design minimizes fatigue from sitting for long periods. It accommodates individuals between 1.55m and 1.90m tall and weighing 80 to 200 pounds. Shoulders, waist, and hips find suitable support.
The design features an 8-layer stack. It includes Nappa leather, 3D MESH composite, soft foam, heating pads, high-performance sponge, seat ventilation layer, lumbar support layer, and seat frame. This creates an enveloping sensation. The seat uses 10mm 3D MESH composite. It fits the body comfortably and offers high breathability. The 15mm slow-rebound zero-pressure memory foam provides a softer ride. The front seat has 55mm high-performance sponge, while the rear seat has 73mm. Both offer strong support for the cushion and side wings.
Nappa leather seats feature many comfortable designs. They give Baojun Enjoyment the largest seat contact area in its class. The backrest also has the largest contact area. The pressure distribution is even. The seats offer better support.
