Recently, SAIC-GM-Wuling announced its new car sales for March 2025. In March, the company sold 157,667 new vehicles, a 22.2% increase year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2025, sales exceeded 377,000 vehicles, marking a 12.3% year-on-year growth. The new energy segment saw explosive growth. In March, new energy sales reached 89,633 vehicles, soaring 121.9% year-on-year. From January to March, new energy sales totaled 199,078 vehicles, a 71.3% increase year-on-year, with new energy accounting for over 50% of total sales. In the overseas market, SAIC-GM-Wuling exported 17,667 units in March, a 2.9% year-on-year increase. From January to March, total exports reached 53,385 units, an 8.2% year-on-year rise, as the global strategy advances steadily.

In March, Wuling’s red label sold over 67,962 vehicles. New energy sales exceeded 14,000, a year-on-year increase of 544%. The monthly penetration rate for new energy surpassed 20%. From January to March, total sales exceeded 156,170 vehicles, up 4.1% year-on-year. New energy sales topped 28,000, soaring 779% compared to last year. The transition to new energy shows significant results.

Since its launch in March 2024, the Wuling Yangguang has sold 69,000 units. It has led the new energy light commercial vehicle market for 12 consecutive months. The Wuling Hongguang electric version has sold over 22,000 units in four months, capturing over 80% of its segment. The Wuling Zhiguang EV launched in February. By March, it sold 5,982 units, ranking first in the new energy minivan market. Additionally, the Wuling Hongguang extended-range version has started pre-sales. It will be the first rear-wheel-drive MPV in the 60,000 yuan (8240$) range. The new model will officially launch in April.

In March 2025, Wuling Silver Badge sold 69,364 vehicles, a 66% increase year-on-year. From January to March, total sales exceeded 161,724 vehicles, up 23.7%. The Hongguang MINIEV family sold over 39,000 units in March, a 149% increase, maintaining the A00-level new energy sales crown for 56 consecutive months. By the end of March 2025, the Hongguang MINIEV family had sold over 1.55 million units.

In March, the Bingguo family sold over 19,000 vehicles, a 53.2% increase year-on-year. Their total sales reached 48,029 units. The Wuling Xingguang family sold 6,913 vehicles in March. From January to March 2025, they sold over 15,000 units. By the end of March 2025, their total sales exceeded 129,000 units.

In March 2025, Baojun sold 2,674 vehicles, a 127.2% increase year-on-year. From January to March, total sales reached 5,978 units. The new mid-to-large sedan, Baojun Xiangjing, will feature the Lingmu Smart Driving 3.0 system. This system supports urban navigation assistance, full-speed AEB, and valet parking among other advanced features. The new car will officially launch in April.
