Additionally, Momenta’s autonomous driving technology will empower the IM brand. SAIC also revealed a new strategic layout. Four major smart driving leaders gather One highlight of the event is the collective appearance of the “four major smart driving teams”—Horizon, Zhi Yu, HarmonyOS Smart Travel, and Momenta. Below are the project progress and plans between SAIC and these four teams regarding product technology. 1. Roewe and MG will partner with Horizon to accelerate smart driving technology. By 2025, multiple main models from Roewe and MG will feature the J6E smart driving platform. Horizon will also enable SAIC’s all-scenario NOA advanced smart driving solution. 2. The Zhi Yu solution will apply to Baojun models under SAIC-GM-Wuling. 3. HarmonyOS Smart Travel is expected to debut with the rumored new brand “Shangjie.” 4. Momenta’s autonomous driving solution will empower Zhi Ji Automotive. Jia Jianxu emphasized that the strategic collaboration with Huawei’s smart selection cars will achieve deep co-creation of technology, ecology, and value, creating true equality in smart driving.

This chassis will launch by 2027 and support L3-level autonomous driving. 2. In electronic architecture, the self-developed “SAIC Galaxy Full Stack 4.0” will officially launch this year. It has self-learning, self-evolving, and self-growing capabilities. 3. In mobility services, the Enjoy Travel Robotaxi has accumulated over 1.4 million kilometers. It becomes the first L4-level autonomous driving operation platform led by an automotive company. 4. In the chip sector, it establishes a domestic chip fund worth billions. By the end of 2024, the localization rate will exceed the industry average. 5. In batteries, SAIC’s first all-solid-state battery, “Guangqi Battery,” will launch in 2027. Its energy density exceeds 400 Wh/kg, and its volumetric energy density exceeds 820 Wh/L. The battery capacity can exceed 75 Ah. This solid-state battery ensures no fire or explosion in puncture tests and 200°C heat box scenarios. Its low-temperature capacity retention exceeds 90%.
