GAC Honda offers car purchase benefits. These include a limited-time free upgrade for the special driving mode package, free selection for cabin colors, a 999 yuan (140$) fee for the intelligent driving assistance system upgrade package, and a limited-time 9000 yuan (1240$) fee for the rear-drive long-range Pro version package. The GAC Honda P7 measures 4750 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1625 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2930 mm. It has a unique design. The body features sharp lines, giving it a distinctive style among current electric vehicles.
The GAC Honda P7 offers several exterior color options: Obsidian Black, Ocean Blue, Greenland White, Moonlight Silver, and Starry Purple. The interior features a minimalist design. The highlight is the screen. It includes a 9.9-inch LCD instrument panel and a 41.9-inch head-up display, along with a central control screen. The interface has unique characteristics. A major highlight is the AI open model platform. It enables voice command activation in seconds. The voice system uses iFlytek technology. It accurately recognizes commands in four zones and supports Sichuan and Cantonese dialects for continuous conversation without wake-up commands.
The new car features smart electronic side mirrors with a waterproof fog coating. This coating prevents water droplets from forming in rain and snow, giving drivers a clearer view of the sides and rear. It also includes ventilated seats for the front and rear, a Bose sound system with headrest speakers, and an aroma system. The GAC Honda P7 uses the Honda SENSING 360+ intelligent driving system. It has one front-facing camera, four multi-directional cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars. This setup supports 360° panoramic imaging, automatic remote parking, custom parking space memory, parking assistance within five meters, and high-speed navigation.
The GAC Honda P7 offers two power systems: a single-motor rear-drive and a dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 200 kW and features a ternary lithium battery from CATL. The dual-motor version provides a combined maximum power of 350 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The new car uses a CATL battery with a capacity of 90 kWh. The single-motor version has a CLTC range of 650 km, while the dual-motor version has a range of 620 km. The GAC Honda P7 faces strong competition in its class, including the Tesla Model Y. Pressure from rivals is significant. However, the P7 showcases GAC Honda’s value proposition in the new energy era. Each brand employs different strategies. Personal experience will reveal how they compare.
