Today, Lantu launched its L3-level intelligent technology architecture, Tianyuan Smart Architecture. Tianyuan Smart Architecture debuted the Qingyun L3-level intelligent safety driving platform and the Kunpeng L3-level intelligent safety driving system. These two technology clusters feature multiple automotive innovations, empowering L3 capabilities.

At the launch event, Lantu’s Lu Fang repeatedly stated that safety is the baseline. The platform features axial flux motors, distributed electric drive, steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and fully active suspension technology. It transforms from an electric control architecture to an intelligent architecture.

The Kunpeng L3 intelligent safety driving system relies on three core modules: the Kunpeng panoramic network, the Kunpeng Jiusuan large model, and the Kunpeng Wanxiang platform. These modules evolve together. They optimize the vehicle’s large model strategy using user driving data.

At the press conference, we saw the Lantu MPV test vehicle equipped with the Lantu axial flux motor and distributed four-motor drive. It easily tackled a 60% slope challenge. The vehicle can start on a slope and perform a U-turn in place. The new architecture includes rear-wheel steering technology. The rear-wheel steering angle adapts to different vehicle sizes, allowing for ±5° or ±10° steering. This feature significantly reduces the turning radius and supports crab mode.

The Lantu intelligent integration chassis technology uses active sensing, smart decision-making, and collaborative execution. It achieves full integration, intelligent reasoning, and autonomous learning. This system enables efficient cooperation between active suspension and active safety systems. It monitors collision risks in real-time from the front, rear, underside, and sides of the vehicle during daily driving. It also takes appropriate active defense measures.

The Kunpeng L3 intelligent driving system enhances safety in smart driving. It achieves better recognition and higher safety bandwidth. It can identify a small object, just 15 cm in size, from 100 meters away. The AEB system can stop from 160 km/h with L3 technology. The Kunpeng L3 system features over 700 lines of lidar for strong perception. It uses a chip with over 1000 TOPS for powerful computing. The next-generation platform enables decision-making evolution, raising safety limits.

At the press conference, the company announced that its first full-size six-seat SUV will officially launch in 2025. The project code is “Taishan.” This new vehicle will be the first product from Tianyuan Zhijia. It will debut with the Qingyun L3 intelligent safety driving platform and feature the Kunpeng L3 intelligent safety driving system.
