Recently, CCTV’s “Morning News” reported that at the “2025 Shanghai Auto Show,” Valeo and Lingfeng Technology announced a strategic partnership. They will launch a new generation of automotive lighting solutions featuring Lingfeng’s ALL-in-ONE color laser headlights.
Valeo and Guangfeng Technology have formed a strategic partnership. Valeo is a well-known high-tech company in the mobile mobility sector. It leads in electrification, advanced driver assistance systems, cabin experience redesign, and comprehensive intelligent lighting. Guangfeng Technology’s ALL-in-ONE color laser headlights integrate multiple advanced technologies into a single compact module. This module enables adaptive high beams, road projection, and in-vehicle cinema functions.
The exhibition vehicle features the Lingjing intelligent vehicle optical system from Guangfeng Technology. With smart technology, the lighting system can switch modes for different driving scenarios. For example, it activates high beam mode on highways to extend the lighting range. In urban areas, it switches to anti-glare mode to reduce light interference. It also offers 10 levels of brightness adjustment. Thanks to Guangfeng Technology’s ALPD® semiconductor laser technology, this lighting module achieves brightness up to 10 times that of standard automotive LEDs with the same DLP chip configuration. It increases luminous flux by 200% while consuming less energy. In the past two years, Guangfeng Technology has delivered large quantities of high-quality laser display and lighting modules for vehicles. The company’s understanding of in-vehicle projection display and lighting applications continues to deepen.
Light Peak Technology’s projection technology breaks physical material limits. At the Shanghai Auto Show, Light Peak Technology launched the “Lingjing” smart vehicle optical system. This system showcases the full-scene application of vehicle optical technology. The “Lingjing” smart vehicle optical system uses laser brightness and efficiency. It combines display and lighting functions flexibly. It overcomes screen size limitations. It projects information onto multiple surfaces inside the vehicle. The intelligent cabin’s light and shadow interaction experience upgrades further.
Smart Laser Projection Giant Screen System As technology advances, Light Peak Technology aims to create a new “digital emotional space.” This will build a new ecosystem for smart laser applications in vehicles. It will enhance the intelligence and personalization of in-car experiences. Maurizio Martinelli, CEO of Valeo’s Lighting Division, stated, “Our partnership strengthens Valeo’s global leadership in next-generation lighting. It combines our expertise in automotive lighting hardware and software. Together, we share a vision to reshape smart automotive lighting.”
Advanced projection technology brings new interactive experiences. Yuxin Yu, Vice President of Guangfeng Technology, stated, “Our partnership with Valeo marks a transformative advance in smart automotive lighting. By complementing each other’s strengths, we will drive the development of next-generation automotive lighting solutions, accelerate innovation, and provide safer, smarter, and more personalized driving experiences for the global market.” In recent years, the global automotive lighting market has rapidly grown, exceeding one hundred billion. Valeo stands as a leading global auto parts supplier and is one of the few providers of a full range of automotive lighting solutions. The significance of Guangfeng Technology’s collaboration with Valeo equals its past partnership with China Film. On one hand, Guangfeng’s advanced laser light source technology combined with Valeo’s extensive experience in lighting design and manufacturing captures the industry’s technological high ground. On the other hand, Valeo possesses top global client resources, covering major manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz and BMW. This partnership allows direct access to the supply chains of leading automakers. Additionally, Valeo’s mature production lines, quality control systems, and customer relationships can address quality control challenges in contract manufacturing. The collaborative products will also secure direct project opportunities, mitigating risks from fluctuations in the supply chains of major manufacturers. As this partnership develops, Guangfeng Technology will further penetrate the overseas automotive optics market, gaining more cash flow and profit growth potential. The Shanghai Auto Show serves as a platform for the Chinese automotive industry to showcase its technological innovations to the world. Chinese companies leverage their technological advantages in new energy and intelligent sectors, becoming technology exporters. “Reverse joint ventures” also emerge as a new path for Chinese automotive products and technologies to enter overseas markets. As Chinese new energy vehicles continue to expand globally, technology firms like Guangfeng Technology will encounter new growth opportunities.
