Recently, Chezhijia reported that Chery Automobile officially named its first C-class flagship sedan, based on the new E0X platform, as Fengyun A9L. The new car will begin full deliveries at the end of June or early July. The founding edition of the Fengyun A9L will have a limited release of 10,000 units.

The Fengyun A9L features a new design. It looks very impressive overall. The front includes a continuous LED light strip that connects to the large headlights. This design enhances recognition when lit. The car also has a large black front grille, boosting its sporty feel.

The car measures 5018mm in length, 1965mm in width, and 1500mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 3000mm. The new model features multi-spoke two-tone wheels, creating an impressive visual effect. Red brake calipers enhance its sporty feel. The taillights adopt a popular through-type design that complements the front end. A chrome trim on the rear bumper adds depth to the back.

The new car features a popular minimalist style. However, minimalism does not mean simplicity. The interior uses plenty of leather and showcases a two-tone color scheme, giving it a premium feel. In terms of configuration, the car includes a floating LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen. The system runs on an 8255 chip, ensuring good response speed. For power, the Fengyun A9L uses a 1.5T plug-in hybrid engine with a maximum power of 115 kW. It employs a continuously variable super electric hybrid DHT Pro system. The drive motor delivers a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 310 N·m. It comes with a lithium iron phosphate battery, offering an electric range of over 260 km.
