On October 30, 2025, Geely’s Galaxy brand announced the launch of the new plug-in hybrid sedan, Xingyao 6. The official price ranges from 74,800 to 105,800 yuan (14860$). Customers who place orders before November 30 at midnight can receive a 6,000 yuan (840$) “super trade-in bonus.” The limited-time price ranges from 68,800 to 99,800 yuan (14020$). This offers a combination of lower prices and higher configurations, targeting the 100,000 yuan (14050$) plug-in hybrid sedan market.
New Car Introduction The Xingyao 6 serves as Geely’s strategic model for the mainstream new energy market. It features a distinctive design. The car sports a straight waterfall chrome grille and sharp headlights. Its muscular lines create a sporty aura, earning it the nickname “domestic AMG.” The design balances stability and quality, appealing to both fuel car enthusiasts and new energy users.
The front face features the eye-catching “Galactic Star Waterfall” grille. It uses 29 “waterfall” lines and 49 “flying” patterns. This combination enhances depth and creates a striking visual effect. The sharp headlight design complements the grille. The front bumper showcases rich line designs, giving it a sporty feel.
The side of the car features clear lines that define a strong body shape. The dimensions are 4806 mm in length, 1886 mm in width, and 1490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2756 mm. These dimensions provide spacious interior space and enhance the elegant, elongated body lines. The new two-tone 17-inch multi-spoke wheels, paired with 215/55 R17 tires, give the car a sporty look.
The dual-core of intelligence and power drives the key competitiveness of the Xingyao 6. The cabin features the Flyme Auto intelligent system. A 14.6-inch floating central control screen and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel create a dual-screen interaction. This setup supports seamless phone-to-car transitions and multi-application downloads. High and mid-range models include the “Qianli Haohan H3” intelligent driving system. It achieves 128 TOPS computing power for high-speed navigation and urban commuting, significantly lowering the entry barrier for advanced intelligent driving.
The new generation Thunder AI hybrid system powers the vehicle. It features a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 82 kW and a maximum torque of 136 Nm. The engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 47.26%. The fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is 2.8L/100km, costing 0.2 yuan (0$) per kilometer. The electricity consumption is 11 kWh per 100 km. For daily commuting, it can operate as a pure electric vehicle, costing about 0.06 yuan (0$) per kilometer. The pure electric range reaches 125 km, and the CLTC combined range can reach 1700 km, covering most users’ daily travel needs. In summary, as competition in the new energy market intensifies, the Xingyao 6 offers consumers a high cost-performance choice. Its design differentiation, spaciousness, technological maturity, and price advantage mark a deeper commitment by Geely Galaxy in hybrid technology.
