Blogger “Weijian” claims to have seen the actual car and stated that the internal code name for this new car is F57. He also mentioned that the seating space inside the car is “definitely larger than the P7” and “much larger”.
This new car is a brand new all-electric sedan that Xiaopeng will launch this year. Its side is long and sleek, with a design that is very different from the Xiaopeng P7. Currently, only the front of the car can be seen with the family-style through-type headlights. In other aspects, the sloping rear of this car is expected to bring better space performance. The new car is expected to be developed based on the FLA architecture, equipped with a full-range 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform. According to IT Home, Xiaopeng Motors has launched a new car model production line renovation and start-up ceremony earlier this month. The project plans to upgrade the existing vehicle production line at the Zhaoqing base through production line technology renovation in preparation for the production of new car models. The total investment for this new car model production line renovation project is expected to exceed 100 million yuan, and the scope of the renovation involves stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly in the four major workshop production lines and logistics equipment facilities.
