Changan’s new pure electric brand, Deep Blue Car, was officially launched in April 2022. With “super range extension” technology as its core competitive advantage, Deep Blue Car has introduced two models, the Deep Blue SL03 and the Deep Blue S7, targeting the mid-size sedan and mid-size SUV market respectively. By the end of 2023, the cumulative delivery volume of Deep Blue SL03 has exceeded 100,000 vehicles, and the cumulative delivery volume of Deep Blue S7 has exceeded 50,000 vehicles.
It is worth noting that, in addition to the domestic market, Deep Blue is also actively expanding overseas. On November 27, 2023, the Deep Blue S07 and L07 models were officially launched in Thailand. The overall design of the Deep Blue S07 is consistent with the Deep Blue S7, with the only difference being the interior layout adapted for the overseas market. According to previous information, the car will be produced at the Changan Thailand factory and will mainly be sold in Southeast Asia and Australia. According to Deep Blue CEO Deng Chenghao, the goal of the Deep Blue team in 2024 is to achieve a global sales volume of 450,000 vehicles. In terms of products, 2024 will be a big year for Deep Blue, with the first product expected to be revealed soon and 2-3 popular products in the pipeline.
